RC1 Released
Posted by rrwhite March 9th, 2007
It’s been a long time coming but approximately 6 months and two new team members after we started we’re ready to start sharing our newborn with the world. ActiveScaffold 1.0 RC1 is now available for semi-general consumption (use the download links in the upper right or follow our getting started doc).
What does the RC mean?
It means…- the documentation is still being written
- ask any questions you have on the forum which will in turn help us refine the documentation.
- we still have a few line items to finish for 1.0
- there might be some bugs and to please post any you find on the bug tracker
- we don’t have the demo application up yet
- we needed to get the code out and peer reviewed (please use the forum tell us what you think)
We’re not yet recommending everyone switch away from AjaxScaffold but we will when we release 1.0.
Let us know what you think, good or horribly bad. We need to hear it.
Thanks for sticking with us, we’re almost there.

Congratulations to you all!
It’s been a great journey… but maybe it’s just begun!

Your link to view the demo is busted.

Congrats! I’ve worked with Ajax Scaffold for quite a long time (and bothered Richard with my questions in the beginning ;), but i admint that this is one of the best things since sliced bread!
I wish you the best for the Future and keep this great thing running!
Best regards!
Franz

Phew. I was worried about the name. The one you settled on is just about perfect.

Looks like good stuff. Is the demo working? I tried clicking on the demo buttong but just redirects back to the main site. Am I missing something?

You guys have done a great job. I will try to contribute with some ideas, but every time I think of one, you have already addressed it with a configuration option.
